DWOS Implantology works
CAD software

An application for implantology works that allows you to design individual abutments, healing screws, implant bars and virtual wax-ups from the implant level and on titanium bases, while providing access to a wide range of implant systems.

Open access to many implant systems

DWOS provides access to a wide range of implantological systems that facilitate the design of implantological works. Prosthodontics specialists also have the option to create their own implant libraries and design titanium-based hybrid abutments. This type of implant-based solution is particularly cost-effective and easy to obtain.

Individual connectors

DWOS gives you full control over the most important parameters of the abutment: emergence profile, crown angle and shape, screw channel that can be angled, and shape of the mouth of the channel. The automatic management of the link axes guarantees the perfect insertion path for the future bridge. It is also possible to create several groups of connectors with parallel axes.

Individual healing screws

The individual healing screws are designed to prepare the soft tissue shape for the final restoration. This complement is typically designed on a pre-operative scan of a model in which the implants were previously placed in CoDiagnostiX as part of the treatment planning.

Moreover, the healing screw can be easily transformed into a custom abutment. Both the healing screws and the final abutments can be generated from the same order, thus ensuring a perfect correlation of the emergence profile with the restoration.

Implantological beams

In the case of designing implantological beams, the Implantology Work module in DWOS includes advanced editing functions, thanks to which we can make a wide range of restorations:

  • Several types of profile are available for beams, including: Round, Dolder, Hader and Milled Beam. We also have the option of creating our own profiles.

  • Each beam segment can be set as a different shape

  • The axis of the beam is set interactively

  • The bar is automatically cut to the gingiva

  • The beam pillars can be edited as you like

  • You can extend the beam with the drawers behind the last pillars

  • Beam segments can be either parallel or in completely different planes

  • When you scan a job with one of the DW scanners ( 3Series or 7Series ), the software provides a certificate that guarantees precision.

Bolted bridges

Thanks to the DWOS implantology module, it is possible to design bridges that are screwed on with the same simple tools that we use to design an ordinary bridge on individual abutments. The video on the right shows an example of a work.

Full virtual wax-up for bolt-on bridges

Our workflow eliminates the tedious need to model the wax-up by hand. After scanning the work with scan abutments, the application generates a full wax-up with a simulation of the gums. The end result can be a full-contour bolt-on bridge or a reduced framework.

The restoration parameters (plane, gingival line and insertion path) can be easily adjusted. The front and side sections can be set as independent elements for better adaptation to the conditions.

Offered with the DWOS Synergy implantology module is a communication application that synchronizes the implantation plan and work project between CoDiagnostiX and DWOS CAD stations. Experts can collaborate in real time, which significantly speeds up your work.
