DWOS Crowns and Bridges
CAD software

The extensive capabilities of the Crowns and Bridges module ensure a simple, efficient workflow and flexible tools to meet even the most demanding cases.

Design possibilities

The DWOS Crowns and Bridges module includes many functions for creating the following restorations:

  • Full anatomical crowns;

  • Crown and bridge foundations;

  • Telescopic crowns;

  • Anatomical telescopes;

  • 3/4 crowns with retention pearls;

  • Inlays, Onlays and Veneers;

  • Crown and bridge covers;

  • Hollow spans (hollow in the center);

  • Hybrid connectors;

  • Crown-root inlays;

  • Single individual switch.

For maximum freedom, editing of the project is possible at any time. From the transition from framework to a fully anatomical crown, to the division of the bridge due to a discrepancy between the stumps, to the removal of spans that do not have space.

Access to multiple libraries

The open architecture of the DWOS software allows the user to work with a very wide range of materials, implant libraries, fixtures, anatomical shapes, etc. In addition, it is possible to create new and customize existing libraries. Available libraries and kits:

  • Material libraries;

  • Anatomical shapes (Merz, Vita, Candulor);

  • Implantology libraries;

  • Articulators;

  • Fastening elements (Rhein83®, Bredent®).

Design automation

DWOS offers several automation tools for efficient design and excellent results:

  • Automatic minimum thickness adjustment;

  • Mirror image of anatomy;

  • Wax-up adaptation

The Crown and Bridges module allows a technician who has no experience with digital prosthetics to effortlessly generate aesthetic, full-contour crowns or bridges. The tutorial guides you through the entire process, from scanning to generating files for production.

The virtual articulator streamlines the process by adding an analysis of the conditions in lateral and anterior-posterior movements. Highlights contacts and automatically proposes shape modifications to the restoration. It simulates the occlusion very accurately, which significantly reduces the time needed for corrections in the office.

User feedback

"There is currently no other CAD / CAM system on the market that better meets the needs of a large dental laboratory.

For example, more than 50% of our permanent restorations are crowns ¾. The digital production of these restorations from DWOS is fast and simple.

This has led to a significant increase in quality and has given us a huge competitive advantage. "
